The Ray and Mary June Goossen Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2012 with their donation for this purpose. Their desire is to see pastors trained from their home congregations, Reedley MB Church, in Reedley, California. The Goossens have been blessed through their labors and have been faithful and generous in their gifts to the kingdom of God. They want to support those who are called by God into ministry and glorify God with their resources.
Eligibility
- The Ray and Mary June Goossen Endowed Scholarship shall be awarded annually to a student enrolled at the Fresno Pacific University Biblical Seminary, up to half of the student's seminary tuition;
- Preference is given to a student from the Reedley MB Church training for the church ministry;
- Student should maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 of higher;
- Applications will be reviewed and a selection made by the dean of the seminary, and a representative from advancement and the director of seminary admissions, or their appropriate replacement(s).
Letter of Recommendation Requirement
This scholarship does not require a letter of recommendation.
