Jake and Rosella Jost Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2007 for students wishing to attend Fresno Pacific University. This endowed scholarship was made possible by the estate of Jake and Rosella Jost in order to provide financial assistance to students who may not be eligible for merit and GPA based awards. The family of Jake and Rosella Jost want the moral, spiritual and ethical quality of a FPU education to be available to more students.

Jake and Rosella Jost lived most of their lives in the Reedley and Dinuba areas. They were involved in farming and health care. Coming of age during the depression and World War II, they were not able to pursue an education as they might have liked. However, their four sons, four daughter-in-laws and three grandchildren have attended Fresno Pacific, all but one completing degrees. Fresno Pacific had a special place in their lives.
