The Dr. Donald and Johanna Braun Endowed Athletics Scholarship was established in 2017 by Johanna Braun to honor her husband and provide Fresno Pacific Student Athletic Department Scholarships. Dr. Donald Braun served the university for 39 years as a professor of chemistry and sixteen years in athletic department in statistics recording and compliance. Johanna (Joan) was an avid Sunbird supporter of various teams and a vocal cheerleader at many games and matches.
Eligibility
- Preference shall be given to traditional undergraduate students exhibiting excellence and skill in an intercollegiate sport. The recipient(s) must participate in the sport to maintain the scholarship.
- Student athlete(s) must meet NCAA Division II for legislation for Athletic Aid;
- Student(s) whose personal character reflects the moral and ethical standards of Fresno Pacific University.
Letter of Recommendation Requirement
This scholarship does not require a letter of recommendation.
