BJ and Linda Braun Endowed Seminary Scholarship

While serving as president of Pacific Bible Institute (precursor to Fresno Pacific University), B.J. Braun established and became the first president of Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary in 1955. In this ministry the Brauns encouraged preparation for pastoral and missionary service. This scholarship celebrates the vision for such training which both FPU and its Biblical Seminary share now as reunited institutions, and to honor B.J. and Linda Braun for their visionary leadership.

Eligibility

  • Priority given to a student preparing for missionary or evangelistic ministry internationally or through the local church;
  • Priority given to graduates of Fresno Pacific University;
  • Character should reflect the biblical, moral, and ethical standards of the seminary.

Special Criteria

Preference given to direct descendants of BJ and Linda Braun. Please describe how you are related.
