Established in 1990, this scholarship was funded from the estate of A.P. and Susan Balzer of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, who desired to bless students studying for ministry. The scholarship is paid from earnings on the endowment, approximately $1000-1500 annually.
Eligibility
- Preference given to a student preparing for congregational ministry who has completed at least 12 units of his/her program;
- Preference given to students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Special Criteria
Preference given to a member of a Mennonite Brethren church.
Letter of Recommendation Requirement
This scholarship does not require a letter of recommendation.
