The Anchor Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2012 with a bequest from the Loving Trust of Selma Bergmann. Ms. Bergmann’s career was in nursing, though her calling was in mentoring the lives of over 180 women. She is remembered for her tender love and steadfast faith. What she believed about Jesus she spoke, and what she spoke she lived. In her final wishes were written these words based on Hebrews 6:19-20 “Reality for me is ‘My Anchor Holds’—it cannot break; it is steadfast. No earthly anchor can give that kind of security.” The Anchor Endowed Scholarship Fund awards up to four scholarships of up to $1000 annually.
