This scholarship was established in 2013 by the generosity of Dr. Peter and Nancy Klassen, former professors of history at FPU and CSU-Fresno. The scholarship fund was established to benefit those who will apply the highest standards of learning in the area of history.
Eligibility
- Priority will be given to students who are pursuing a history major, or a program of study within the School of Humanities, Religion, and Social Sciences. International students who demonstrate scholastic potential will be considered;
- Student applicants enrolled full-time at Fresno Pacific University;
- Student applicants who maintain a minimum of a 3.0 grade point average;
- Student athletes must meet NCAA Division II Regulations for scholarships;
- Students whose personal character reflects the moral and ethical standards of Fresno Pacific University.
