The Sam and Sarah Wiens Missions Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2012 with the entire endowed principal and pooled earnings of the Sam and Sarah Wiens Scholarship fund transferred to Fresno Pacific University Biblical Seminary from the MB Biblical Seminary in 2010. This scholarship fund was created in 1996 with a gift from the estate of Sam and Sarah Wiens. Their special interest was in evangelistic outreach, discipling and church growth among all languages and people worldwide. The purpose of this fund was to prepare leaders for such ministries through the seminary.
Eligibility
- Applicants must qualify for financial aid and demonstrate financial need;
- Priority will be given to students intent on pursuing ministries of redemption and hope in Jesus such as outreach, evangelism, church planting, or counseling in a cross-cultural context;
